Seawater as Offshore Water Supply

Offshore platforms rely on seawater for cooling systems and, in many cases, water injection for reservoir pressure maintenance. Seawater introduces biological fouling, scale formation, and corrosion challenges that traditionally require extensive chemical treatment programs.
